Delete Your Account
You can delete your GovScope account and all associated data directly from the app in seconds. No form submission or email required.
Delete from the app
Account deletion is handled entirely within the GovScope app. Follow these steps:

Open GovScope Launch the app on your Android device.

Go to Profile Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.

Tap "Close account" Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen and tap Close account.

Confirm deletion Review the confirmation dialog and tap Delete my account to permanently close your account.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you are signed in before attempting deletion. If your session has expired, sign out and sign back in first, then repeat these steps.
What gets deleted
When you close your account, the following data is permanently removed immediately:
- Your Firebase Authentication account and sign-in credentials
- Your Firestore profile record (email, display name, account tier)
- All saved opportunity IDs
- Your match profile (organization name, mission, keywords, location)
- Your keyword alerts
- Your Professional license (if active — not refunded)
GovScope does not retain backups of deleted accounts. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
Can't access the app?
If you are unable to sign in or access the app to delete your account, contact us directly and we will delete your account and all associated data within 5 business days. Please include the email address associated with your account.
