EULA | Bible Quest

        Please read this End User License Agreement ("EULA") carefully before downloading or using Bible Quest. By installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this EULA.
      

1. Parties

This EULA is a legal agreement between you ("End User") and DGZGames ("Licensor"), the developer of Bible Quest ("App"). If you are entering into this EULA on behalf of a minor (e.g., a child using the Youth Edition on a parent's device), you represent that you are that minor's parent or legal guardian and agree to this EULA on their behalf.

2. Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with this EULA, DGZGames grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

Download and install one copy of Bible Quest on a device you own or control
Use Bible Quest solely for personal, non-commercial study purposes

This license does not include the right to sublicense, distribute, or exploit the App commercially in any way.

3. License Restrictions

You may not:

Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except as expressly permitted by applicable law
Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the App
Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
Transfer, sell, resell, sublicense, or otherwise convey the App or your rights under this EULA to any third party
Use automated tools to interact with, scrape, or extract data from the App
Attempt to bypass account, content-mode, or purchase-unlock restrictions

4. Intellectual Property

Bible Quest and all its components — including but not limited to the software code, graphics, user interface, lesson and quiz content, and all associated intellectual property — are and remain the exclusive property of DGZGames, with the exception of the underlying Douay-Rheims Bible text, which is a public-domain translation. This EULA does not grant you any ownership rights in the App. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by DGZGames.

5. Account and Purchases

Bible Quest requires an account and does not support anonymous or guest access. Genesis, Exodus, Matthew, and Mark are free; a one-time, non-subscription unlock purchase ($9.99) processed through Google Play Billing unlocks the remaining content for your account. All purchases are subject to Google Play's own terms and refund policies.

6. Privacy

Your use of Bible Quest is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this EULA by reference. Bible Quest stores account information (email, display name, sign-in provider, and app entitlement status) using Firebase Authentication and a dedicated Firestore database.

7. Updates and Modifications

DGZGames may release updates, patches, or new versions of Bible Quest from time to time. You may be required to update the App to continue using it. DGZGames reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the App itself at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Bible Quest is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DGZGames expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. DGZGames does not warrant that the App will be available at all times, error-free, or free from bugs or other defects.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DGZGames be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use Bible Quest, even if DGZGames has been advised of the possibility of such damages. DGZGames's total cumulative liability to you under this EULA shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

10. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA terminate automatically and without notice from DGZGames if you fail to comply with any term. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies on your devices. You may also delete your account at any time from Settings. Sections 4, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination of this EULA.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising under this EULA shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas. If any provision of this EULA is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

12. Entire Agreement

This EULA, together with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, constitutes the entire agreement between you and DGZGames with respect to Bible Quest and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
